Nominations for the 2010 governing body of NABOR are now open !
Please review the attached file document information that outlines a few preliminary points about what is expected from someone serving on a board. These are voluntary appointments (in other words........... sorry, but there is no monthly stipend that goes with this directorship).
You can nominate yourself, someone else new or someone who has previously served on the board.
Nominations are due back (mail back the signed and completed Nomination Form, which is Page 2, in the attached document) to the NABOR Office by August 1. The new board needs to be confirmed before the September General Membership Meeting. Once the new board is in place, the Officers are then elected.
The one Officer we know for sure at this time is Mr. Glenn Kirby, who will serve as the 2010 NABOR President. Glenn represents the Eastern/Slidell District area. Congratulations, Glenn !
