NABOR 2010 MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL …..Due NOVEMBER 15, 2009
No trick here………it’s a treat! We are happy to announce there is no increase in our annual local dues again this year! NABOR dues are still only $99.50 per year. Agents should return their invoice and payment directly to their broker, who will then forward everything on all agents to the NABOR Office.
Avoid late fees……get your dues in before November 15. After November 15, a $50 Late Fee is assessed. If Dues are not received by December 31, a $100 Late Fee is assessed and your membership is then terminated. We don’t want that! Terminated members names are forwarded to GSREIN, where your MLS Service is interrupted. I know you don’t want that! Many thanks to all who support the northshore professional association. NABOR continues to grow stronger every year because of you. Thank you!

Congratulations to Southern Realty, Slidell, for winning the prize drawing for one of the first broker offices to have all their agent’s dues paid and sent in before the announced October 20. Chris Korman’s Office will receive a special lunch treat delivered to the office!
SAVE $50 IN A TRANSFER WAIVER
Between now and Christmas, the NABOR Office is waiving the regular $50 Transfer Fee for agents interested in transferring from another board to NABOR. Tell your colleagues. Happy Holidays!
NABOR ON TV AND RADIO
Watch for NABOR Chili promotions in a great TV commercial and on radio beginning soon for the annual NORTHSHORE REALTOR CHILI CHALLENGE, being held Saturday, November 7 at the Fairview-Riverside State Park in Madisonville. Proceeds go to helping the housing needs of the St. Tammany and Tangipahoa Associations of Retarded Citizens, STARC and TARC. Between 11:00am and 3:00pm, you can watch REALTOR teams from Slidell, Covington, Mandeville and Hammond cook and compete to hold the title for the best REALTOR chili on the northshore. Chances available to win great door prizes. Bring the family, co-workers and friends! Come cheer for your favorite broker office!

Thank you to all the NABOR Affiliates who renewed their membership. Affiliate Dues are only $250 per year. We are enhancing the NABOR website to give greater exposure for all our impressive affiliates. There will be another Affiliate Taping Session soon at the NABOR Office, where Affiliates can come and tape a free promotional commercial about their services. Each Affiliate will then be featured on the online NABOR Blog. Date and details to be announced soon.

NEW AGENT ORIENTATION
There is only 1 new agent orientation classes left this year on Monday, December 7. Class begins promptly at 9am. Agents should arrive at 8:50am. All paperwork and fees must be submitted the Wednesday before the class, December 2. Please only use the latest revised Membership Form posted on the NABOR Web. www.nabors.org
SALES RECOGNITION AWARDS PROGRAM
Next year’s NABOR Sales Awards Program Luncheon will be held on March 18, 2010, at Tchefuncta Country Club in Covington. The Awards Committee is currently revising the criteria and various other points in the program. CONTINUING-EDUCATION
NABOR continues to offer all continuing education class FREE to all NABOR members in good standing. Beginning in January 2010, there will be a nominal fee for non-NABOR members. NABOR members can continue to enjoy FREE education classes.
For your convenience, we also strive to offer continuing-ed classes in all areas near our membership: Slidell, Covington and Hammond. Let’s us know if you would like a particular course taught next year.
