NEW 2010 BOARD OF DIRECTORS…………
Congratulations to the new NABOR Board of Directors who will take office at the Installation Reception on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at LaProvence Restaurant in Lacombe. Congratulations to the 2010 Officers: glenn kirby, President, susan KURZWEG, President-Elect, JUDY Walton, Treasurer, and
lizby eustis, Secretary.
The 2010 Directors are Tanya Costanza, JEANNINE GASTER, Cheryl McADAM,

NEIL WISEMAN and ronda behrens, Ex –Officio.
Enjoy Chef John Besh’s Signature Hors d’ Oeuvres while networking with your NABOR Board of Directors, Brokers, Agents, Friends, and with special Affiliate introductions! Please note we are following a slightly different format this year with the evening being a two-hour reception serving heavy Hor d’Oeuvres instead of the more formal seated full meal, as served in the past. Many folks have asked for a shorter, more casual venue where agents, brokers and affiliates can mingle about more that evening. Special recognition will be given to all Affiliate Sponsors of the Board of Directors 2010 Installation Reception.

Advance Reservations Only. That means no walk-in tickets are available at the door that night. We hope you understand why everyone attending the event needs to have a paid reservation. Please don’t say that you promise not to eat anything, you won’t look at anything, listen to any of the music, or talk to anyone that night, so you should not have to pay for a ticket! We love all of you the same, so that’s why everyone needs to invest in a ticket, please. We always do everything possible to have nice events in interesting places, while keeping prices the same or down from years past. Tickets are $ 45 per reservation, if made before January 20, 2010, and then $ 55 per reservation after January 20th. Thank you for understanding that the January 20th ticket deadline will be strictly applied this year. Any reservations that come in after January 20th will have to be at the $55 level. Tickets are available by check, Visa or MasterCard.
Guest Reservation and Sponsor Forms were recently sent to all brokers, agents and affiliates. Please use that to make your reservations. THANK YOU DUES RENEWALS…..
Thank you to all members who got their dues in before the November 15, 2009 deadline. You are now paid up until the end of 2010! This was your annual local association, state and national dues. For all others, the $50 late fee is now in effect until December 31. Please understand this late fee is following association bylaws and policies. This is not something the office enjoys having to collect.
If Dues are not received by December 31, 2009, a $100 Late Fee is assessed and your membership is then terminated. Terminated member names are forwarded to GSREIN, where your MLS Service is interrupted. Reinstatement fees are then also attached.
It’s great to have all of you back and so wonderful to meet all the many new members who have transferred over to NABOR. Welcome, NABOR!
REMIND YOUR COLLEAGUES THEY CAN STILL SAVE $50 ……
Only 18 days left until Santa and transferring over to save $50. Between now and Christmas of 2009, the NABOR Office is waiving the regular $50 Transfer Fee for agents interested in transferring from another board to NABOR. Tell your colleagues. Happy Holidays!

NEW AGENT ORIENTATION CLASSES FOR 2010….
The schedule for NABOR’s 2010 NEW AGENT ORIENTATION CLASSES will remain 9:00am on the 3rd Monday morning of the month, except when scheduling conflicts arise. Please note the 2010 New Agent Orientation Class Dates: Monday, January 25, February 22, March 15, April 19, May 17, June 21,
July 19, August 16, September 20, October 18 and December 6.
New agents should arrive at 8:50am. No walk-ins can come into the new agent orientation class. Advanced application is required. The new agent’s applications, fees and all other required documents are always due the Wednesday before the class date. Forms are available on www.nabors.org.
Agents must submit all their information with full payments before the class. Many new agents ask this, but sorry, there is no lay-away plan for financing new association application fees and dues. As all seasoned agents already know, becoming a Realtor is quite an investment. All good things cost! Also, please remember to tell any new friends interested in joining this professional association three important points: #1 They must actually have their real estate license before they can join a Realtor professional association; #2 They can not arrive an hour late for orientation class; and #3 They can not depart an hour early in orientation class. Orientation classes are too informative to miss any part!
