Last week your NABOR Board of Directors met in an intense strategic planning session to prioritize the focus of NABOR for this coming year. Thank you to all in our general membership who also contributed by sending in constructive comments. A more detailed report will be published soon. A mutual consensus was that NABOR will concentrate on improved communications and enhancing continuing education and professional development offered to our members.
AFFiliate blog TAPING…
The second taping of NABOR’s Affiliate services will be in February. Exact date will be announced soon. All NABOR Affiliates in good standing are invited to prepare a short commercial that will be promoted on the NABOR web blog site.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT……
Reminder that many of your board directors will be attending this week The Louisiana REALTORS annual Leading Edge Conference, January 13-15, 2010 in Baton Rouge at the Hilton Capitol Conference Center. BROKER’S COUNCIL….
All brokers or office managers are invited to NABOR’s first Broker’s Council of the year on Thursday, February 4 at the NABOR Office, 8:30am-9:30am. This gathering is a great opportunity for brokers to share issues and concerns.
NEW AGENT ORIENTATION CLASSES FOR 2010….
The next New Agent Orientation Class is 2 weeks from today, Monday, January 25. Classes begin at 9:00am on the 3rd Monday morning of the month, except when scheduling conflicts arise. Please note the 2010 New Agent Orientation Class Dates: Monday, January 25 , February 22, March 15, April 19, May 17, June 21, July 19, August 16, September 20, October 18 and December 6.
New agents should arrive at 8:50am. Please advise your new agents that they must register in advance. No walk-ins can come into the new agent orientation class. The new agent’s applications, fees, copies of driver’s and real estate licenses and all other required signed documents are always due the Wednesday before the class date. Membership applications are available on www.nabors.org.
Let us help you. If your new agents are not sure of all the required documents they need to send in, have them call the NABOR Office and we will be happy to walk them through the process.
