NABOR ANNOUNCES 2012 BOARD OFFICERS…… Thank you, CAROLE WOODWARD, Keller Williams Realty Professionals, Slidell, who will serve as NABOR President in 2012. DAVID HOLLOWAY, Smith & Core, Inc., Folsom, was recently elected by the Board as President-Elect for 2012. JEANNINE GASTER, Keller Williams Realty Professionals, Slidell, will continue to serve next year as Secretary, and MARC PELLETTIERE, Real Living Mauti Meredith Scoggin, will move to Treasurer. Congratulations to all board Officers who are cultivating exciting new strategies to better serve our members!
The Board of Directors is the governing authority for the NABOR members serving St. Tammany, Tangipahoa and Washington Parishes. The members on the board serve staggered three (3) year terms. The Board of Directors is the driving force that continues to move this professional association forward. Officers were elected based on their recognized professional talent, impressive credentials and commitment to the mission and vision of NABOR and the Realtor communities on the northshore.
Thank you to DAVID DERBES and RONDA BEHRENS for continuing to serve on the board next year. The full 2012 Board of Directors will be announced soon after their approved confirmation. The new Board of Directors officially take office on January 1, 2012.

NABOR AFFILIATE APPRECIATION DAY…. Thank you to all the great NABOR Affiliates who came out for our annual appreciation breakfast on November 17th. It was an honor to spend a little social time with all of our wonderful affiliates and to thank them for years of generous support. STILL TIME TO PAY YOUR 2012 REALTOR ASSOCIATION DUES….. There is still time to pay your 2012 Realtor Association Dues. Check out the Dues Invoice forms on www.nabors.org. Join NABOR as your primary or secondary board. Local Dues is only $140.
The usual transfer fees are now being waived until Christmas for any agent interested in moving from another association over to NABOR. Come on over and join your northshore NABORS!
NEW NABOR PHONE NUMBER………….. Please note starting in mid-December, the NABOR Office telephone numbers will change to 985-674-4233 with the FAX line as 985-674-4465. NABOR’s web and email addresses will all remain the same. We are not moving anywhere, so our office address is still the same. We will just have new telephone numbers. In case you forget the new phone number, just dial the old one (985-892-5200) and AT&T’s recording will re-direct you to the new number.
‘TIS THE SEASON………..ALMOST -- FOR SALES AWARDS…. NABOR Brokers will soon be receiving the 2012 Sales Awards Criteria Packets to honor companies and their producers in 2011. This is a great opportunity for brokers and agents to be recognized for their impressive achievements on the northshore. Talk to your broker about what’s involved in being nominated for Realtor of the Year, Rookie of the Year, or the H.B. Breeding Award.
Sales Award application packets will be due back in the NABOR Office by January 11, 2012. The packets are scheduled to go out via U.S.Mail around December 15th. Online reminders will also be sent. Remind your broker to be on the lookout for a large white envelope from NABOR!
The Annual Sales Awards Luncheon will be held at Tchefuncta Country Club on Thursday, March 29, 2012, 11:30am. Reserve that date.
